How We Got Started

Owner, Mark English, has been wanting to try this endevor and has been gathering information for the past 15 yrs. While at a regional llama show in western North Carolina, Mark and his family received the help of some new friends and mentors Jerry and Carolyn Ayers (owners of Walnut Ridge llamas). A large part of the endeveour has been learning to select the right animals as well as training the llamas.

For the past three years, the wheel of momentum really started pulling things togeather - securing the farm and searching for the animals.  They now have a great breeding program that produces beautiful animals with friendly temperments. Furthermore, the llamas raised and bred on the farm have become happy working animals.
